Lots of submissions right away! I hope some more will continue to roll in the next two weeks!
Really, I just wanted to make a new post to mention when the submission period ends, because I forgot to note that in the prompt post: The submissions thread will be closed at 11:59 of Feburary 14.

It’s the inaugural round of the inaugural season of the contest. Let’s start off with something easy. ^^
It’s a show about games with a main character whose name means game. It’d be pretty certain that a game would feature a prominent role in at least some of the fics…
O.O; I can think of quite a few! How many am I allowed to rec?
…You know, I hadn’t thought about a submission limit, since I figured usually people wouldn’t have more than about three for any given prompt xD I specifically chose a really easy prompt for the first round (and the next couple shouldn’t be too hard either).
I guess, just try to use good judgment about it and not totally swamp the thread. Maybe like, a soft limit of five? It’ll be easier to flesh out these rules once we’ve gone through a couple rounds.
It’s the inaugural round of the inaugural season of the contest. Let’s start off with something easy. ^^
It’s a show about games with a main character whose name means game. It’d be pretty certain that a game would feature a prominent role in at least some of the fics written for it. Maybe the game isn’t obvious, but a character can’t stop thinking of his or her relationship with the others as a game. Maybe life itself a game for someone.
So bring ‘em here, archived stories which prominently feature or are themed around a game.
Remember, you don’t need to have signed up to vote in order to submit, and submitting a fic lets you in to voting.
Please include the fic’s title, original summary, and word count. You can add additional information if you like, such as an explanation why the fic fits the prompt, or a warning for graphic material if it’s needed.
Archive Contest voting sign-up is extended to January 31. Let’s hope the forums stay up for that long.
